Make a new layer and name it Shoes. Now think of what kind of shoes you want and draw the outline! Never draw your shoes exactly as the outline of the foot (unless you want your doll to be wearing painfully tight shoes!) Try drawing the shoe a pixel or two out.
I'm going to draw some brown lace-up boots, so I drew the outline, then I cleaned it up and filled it in with the paint bucket.
Now take the next darkest color and shade them in where you think the shadows should lie, then take the next darkest color and shade the deepest shadows.
Next thing I did was make a new layer named Laces and drew the laces in. Next I get a shade a lot lighter than the boot color and highlight it! When I highlight shoes I usually make a shiny spot on the shoe then a few lines on the platform part to give it texture. ^^
We finished the shoes! Now lets go on to the tights (transeparentsy)! >>>
