You could use this part if you want ruffles on your doll (it doesn't have to be on the skirt though!) or you can skip it and go to the shoes!

Make a new layer and name it Ruffles, then pick the color you want and try to draw them! Its basically just like drawing a small section of a skirt.. on the skirt. ^^; Next fill it in with a light shade of the color.

Next of course do both of your shadows...

And finally highlights! I usually don't do highlights, or if I do I use barely any. This is mainly because most of my ruffles are always a shade of white. For the example to the right I put a couple highlights in, your probably cant tell though. ^^;

We finished the ruffles! Now lets go on to the shoes! >>>
